Add Scan Inverter Serial Number To Your Custom Checklist

How to add a custom "Inverter Serial Number" Checklist

1) Login under your solar retailer admin account

2 ) In the top menu go to Jobs > General Settings

3) Select the pencil icon under the actions column for your custom template

4) Click on Add New Item

5) Under Class Type select Capture serial numbers + Photos

6) Set Item Name with a string like: Scan INVERTER Serial Numbers

7) Set Folder Name with a string like:  Inverter Serial Numbers

8) Set Total Number to Specify Amount - 1

9) Set Map Captured Serial Number to Existing Field - Inverter Serial Number

10) Set Separator to New Line

11) Tick the checkbox for Save a copy to .TXT

12) Set the Serial number File Name to something like InverterSerialNumber

13) Set Photo Quality to either medium or low settings

14) Click Save

15) Reorder your checklist item to the desired position in your checklist

Important Notes for Installers on scanning for inverter serial numbers:

For some inverter brands, a unique serial number barcode for inverter may not be available on the device.

In this case, installers should follow the following steps:

1) Type the serial number in manually by using the Add Barcode button and hit Add

2) Take a physical photo of the inverter serial number with the camera button in visitPhotos tab
