Clean Energy Regulator - REC Registry Required Changes For the 1 April 2022

There are significant changes being made in STC PV Creations for the Clean Energy Regulator coming on the 1 April 2022. These changes include new requirements for gathering of mandatory written statements for System Owner, Installer, Designer and the Solar Retailer.

Here's what you need to know to get prepared in Greenbot:

1) Written Statements - Solar Retailer  (see here)

Solar Retailers will be required to submit a mandatory written statement before trading any job. A new module will be available in job details where users can sign and populate the require fields needed for STC submissions. 

2) Written Statements - Installer, Designer, System Owner

New written statements are provided in the new 12.7 APP (releasing March 2022). These written statements are provided before any signature capture. There are no significant changes to any flows for app users.

3) Capturing Inverter Serial Numbers

There is a new serial number field for inverters provided in the job details screen.

A new checklist item called Scan INVERTER Serial Numbers has been added to Greenbot's default checklist. As of April 1 2022, this item is a mandatory requirement for any submissions.

Please ensure that accredited installers understand the need to capture the unique serial number for inverters.
